The Inn has a relaxed feeling and allows people to eat in their own way, so you can have a burger and a bottle of burgundy or enjoy fine food over a 4 hour lunch. The Salopian Inn has something else, Gin, 160 varieties from around the globe which makes it the gin palace of South Australia.
The quintessential summer dining spot, this cannot be missed. Stunning views of the mid-south coast's prettiest beach, Port Willunga. Dishes are creative and accessible but quintessentially Australian with influences from Asia and the Mediterranean. The food is fresh and seasonal, sourcing much local produce from the growers, breeders and winemakers along the Fleurieu Peninsula and all over South Australia. Alternatively want something more casual then order your fish and chips from the kiosk outside and enjoy the same views with a beer and sandy feet.
The restaurant is a renovated cottage with a shed-cum-retro-dining-room out the back, the waiters are often young local grommets with bare feet, and the booze is BYO and usually brought in eskies. On winter nights the indoor rooms are full of roaring fireplaces and cosy nooks (braziers outside for those slumming it in the awesome atmosphere of the shed), and in summer, the tables spill onto the lawn and the nights go on forever. The d’Arenberg Cube restaurant offers a seasonally changing degustation menu, with an extensive wine list featuring a selection of imported wines, and both current vintage and museum releases from d’Arenberg. Two different levels of wine matches are available.

Bocca di Lupo at Mitolo Wines
Bocca di Lupo offers up contemporary Italian fine dining.Focusing on regional foods which reflect the Mitolo’s family’s Mediterranean roots in Abruzzo, Italy. Head Chef Tom Jack’s cooking style is described as “modern European with an Italian influence”, using fresh local produce from the landscaped exterior and with a choice of menus including; a la carte, a three-course set menu, and five and eight-course degustation options. Nestled within the vines of McLaren Vale, the architecturally designed structure captures and celebrates the surroundings and landscape in which it is located. One of the McLaren Vale's undisputed best, this winery restaurant is nothing short of spectacular. The view alone should be enough to entice you to stay for lunch, but the veranda (and there really is one: a modern corrugated iron, timber and glass veranda built onto the side of the winery's original homestead) offers so much more. Harry’s Deli, offers casual dining inside the Wirrra Wirra refurbished cellar door space and in the courtyard overlooking our native gardens and the Scrubby Rise vineyard. It features a delicious menu showcasing regional produce in seasonal platters, salads and mouth-watering panini, all accompanied by a selection of Wirra Wirra wines. Harry’s Deli is the ideal pit-stop for a quick coffee (try our Church Block blend), take away snack or a long, lazy lunch.
The Currant Shed is part of Hoffmans Winery and is the purveyor of delicious regional food. The restaurant is situated in the Old Currant Drying Shed with views on one side to the vines and the other to the citrus orchard. Wonderfully relaxed, superb menu to choose from. Wine tasting is only the beginning at the Gemtree Sustainable Cellar Door. They serve organic tea, coffee, soft drinks and sweets and their platters feature only the finest local and organic produce. The deck overlooks the organic vineyards and all the way to the sea, plus the beautiful licensed lawn area beneath the deck is equipped with picnic tables, shady umbrellas and picnic rugs, you'll find everything you need for a lovely day out. WayWood Cellar door is also the home for Luscious Red Food, a simple kitchen offering guests an opportunity to sample wines and dishes inspired by the makers’ years of international travel. Showcasing the region’s abundant fresh and seasonal produce designed to complement the wines. The a lovely selection of tapas style food is shareable and rustic with the menu changing weekly inspired by the wines being featured.
