Chill out in the Garden Retreat Suite. Take in the beautiful views out to the gardens and the vines beyond. Stroll around the two acres of gardens, check out the veggie beds, pick some fruit and find a shady spot to sit and relax. Afternoon tea can be pre-ordered and served in the Garden Retreat or perhaps on the lawn or rose garden.

Dining out in the McLaren Vale wine region is an absolute pleasure and will be one of the highlights of your stay, with everything on offer from platters at cellar doors, casual laid back options and fine dining.

A delicious gourmet breakfast hamper will be delivered to the Garden Retreat each morning. This may include fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli, juice, home made savoury muffins or muesli bars and a hot savoury or sweet element.

During your stay a picnic hamper can be organised for you to take out for the day while you explore our beautiful region or perhaps order a regional/cheese platter for a lazy lunch or evening light dinner while relaxing at the Lodge. Feeling energetic? How about a bike ride along the Shiraz Trail, Take out the Mulberry Lodge electric bikes ( if available) onto the Shiraz Trail accessed from the back of the Mulberry Lodge paddock. Stop off at a few McLaren Vale wineries for a tasting and sample some tasty local produce.
