To maintain a high standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most guests will respect our property, but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

As Covid is now a known illness and circulating widely in the community we recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance to cover you should you require to cancel your booking at short notice. Our Standard cancellation policy still applies to cancellation due to Covid 19 or isolation requirements.

Standard Booking Confirmation
- Full payment is required at time of booking if the booking made though our online booking portal.
- If booking via email or phone a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment of the deposit constitutes the client’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- The full balance of the tariff must be received 30 days prior to occupancy. If not, the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let the rooms.
Standard Cancellation
- Cancellations up to 30 days prior to arrival, a refund will be provided or take a credit note for use within the following 12 months
- Cancellations within 30 days prior to arrival will incur a total loss of monies unless the booking can be replaced.
- All efforts are made to replace cancelled bookings and return monies paid less an administration fee of $50.
- We recommend purchasing Travel Insurance to cover you for any unforeseen circumstances

Date changes
- Dates can be changed any time up to 30 days before arrival at no charge
- Date changes requested within 30 days of travel will be treated as a cancellation and a new booking.
- If we are able to resell the dates cancelled the cancellation charges will be refunded
- We recommend purchasing Travel Insurance to cover you for any unforeseen circumstances.
Visitors / Parties
- Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice.
- Only confirmed guests are allowed on the property - no visitors
Gift Vouchers
- Vouchers are subject to the same terms and conditions. (see Cancellations/Date Changes above)
Damages, Breakages, Theft & Loss
- These are the guests’ responsibility during your stay and must be advised ASAP.
- Any damage or loss of property will be charged at repair/replacement cost.
- Cleaning which goes beyond the standard will be on charged.
- Please be aware spray tan is very difficult to remove from our white linen and cream bath towels. Permanent staining will be on-charged for replacement of linen and towels
Departure
- The property/suite should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.
- Check-out time is 10.00am, to allow time to prepare the property for the next guests. This may sometimes be varied upon agreement with Hazel prior to arrival on the property.
- Regrettably we will charge $50 per hour or part thereof to your credit card should you stay beyond the agreed time.
Removal of Rubbish
- We’ll remove general rubbish following your departure, should you find yourself with excess rubbish during your stay please let Hazel know and we will remove this.
Pets & Smoking
- We love animals but choose not to allow pets as many people/guests have allergies to pet hair.
- Smoking is only allowed outdoors and on hard standing areas. Please do not smoke on the lawned areas and have consideration of future guests.
- The property sits between 2 vineyards and while the property generally is very quiet and peaceful, during Vintage (Jan– Mar) the harvest machinery may operate on these vineyards during the night.
- The Lodge has 2 electric bicycles and if available ( they do go offsite for regular maintenance and the occasional repair ) can be taken out by our guests to cycle the Shiraz Walking/Cycle track which can be accessed direct from the Mulberry Lodge paddock. Bicycles are taken out at guests own risk. We do have 2 x helmets but can't cater for all head sizes, and recommend guests bring their own helmets. Please note that our electric bikes are not a package inclusion they are subject to availability, and may on occasions not be available.
Loss of personal property
- The owners’ take no responsibility for the guests personal property.
