Platinum Package with Helicopter Flight

We've partnered with Helivista,  Shottesbrooke Wines and the Currant Shed to bring you something a bit special in the Mclaren Vale wine region.     

Your Platinum package will include: 
  • A 2 or 3 night stay at Mulberry Lodge in the beautiful  Garden Retreat Suite. Completely private with your own entrance and private decked outside seating area. 
  • A bottle of premium McLaren Vale wine and handmade chocolates to welcome you along with a cheese platter and savoury and sweet treats.
  • Delicious gourmet breakfast hamper delivered to the Garden Retreat each morning.  
  • Pick up by Helivista from the Mulberry Lodge paddock for your private half hour helicopter tour of Mclaren Vale for 2 people. The tour includes a fly over of the McLaren Vale wine region, Onkaparinga Gorge and the stunning pristine waters and coastline at Port Willunga
  • Helicopter drop off at Shottesbrooke Wines where you will be taken on a tour of the McLaren Vale vineyard and winery. You'll then be hosted at a private personalised tasting featuring many of the wines discussed throughout the tour. Hear about the Shottesbrooke wine making process and philosophy.
  • Take a short walk through the native woodlot and vineyards to the award winning   “ Currant Shed “  restaurant and indulge in a regionally inspired 3 course lunch complete with matched Shottesbrooke wines.  (Allow 5 hours for the helicopter tour, vineyard tour, tasting and lunch)   Complimentary pick up and return to Mulberry Lodge.     
  • Access to our complimentary "Digital Local Area Guide "  to access our local recommendations and special deals we've negotiated for our guests at wineries and restaurants and local businesses.

Mulberry Lodge Electric Bikes 
​The Lodge has 2 electric bicycles and if available ( they do go offsite for regular maintenance and the occasional repair ) can be taken out by our guests to cycle the Shiraz Walking/Cycle track which can be accessed direct from the Mulberry Lodge paddock. Bicycles are taken out at guests own risk. We do have 2 x helmets but can't cater for all head sizes, so if you have your own helmet we recommend bringing them with you. Please note this is not a package inclusion bikes  are subject to availability, and may on occasions not be available.   ​
​Optional extras that you can book to enhance your experience:
  • Add a boxed flower arrangement (easy to transport home) for your loved one: $125 
  • Add a Box of Bracegirdles handmade luxury chocolates (16piece) - Signature collection $55    
  • Add a couples relaxing Aromatherapy Massage at one of our McLaren Vale Spas. 90mins and includes herbal teas.  $280 per couple in a double treatment room or upgrade to a 3  hour full Spa morning or afternoon for ultimate pampering $690 per couple   - includes a warm foot soak, full body exfoliation scrub, massage and 60 minute facial.

Terms & Conditions of this package: 3rd party experiences are subject to availability at the time of booking. If for any reason any part of the experience is not available with our business partners we will endeavour to find an alternative, or a refund of the "experience” will be offered, or alternative dates can be booked. Helicopter flight is also subject to weather conditions on the day and has a maximum weight limit of 180kg per couple.  3 night minimum stay over long weekends and our standard cancellation policy applies to all bookings for this 2 or 3 night package.
